k-Space is excited to announce that Andrew Kuhlman has joined our team as a Product Development Engineer. Andrew joins us with experience in the solar industry, high-volume manufacturing, and thin-film characterization. He comes to us with a Master of Science in Physics from Bowling Green State University.
He will be working with other k-Space engineers on product development while helping our customers with new tool installations and technical support. With his background in continuous improvement projects and optical metrology solutions in R&D and manufacturing, he will bring an inside perspective from the customer’s point of view.
“In my past position, I worked with k-Space as a vendor for my company, and I knew the quality and custom solutions they can bring to a manufacturing company. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with them to help develop and install new products for customers who need state-of-the-art optical metrology,” Andrew said.
Andrew works in our Dexter, MI office and will be focusing on our thin-film metrology for research institutes, R&D, and manufacturing. We are happy to have him as part of the team that provides world class technical support and industry-leading metrology.
