k-Space is adding 10 3D printers to the 2 printers it currently has in-house. While the existing printers are used for prototype and rapid parts printing, the additional 10 printers will be used initially to help k-Space make complete face shields for health care workers battling the coronavirus. k-Space anticipates that with the 12 printers at full capacity, about 40 face shields per day will be manufactured.
