k-Space is pleased to announce that Hunter VanEck, applications engineer, has completed the classwork and testing for the SolidWorks Apprenticeship program and has received the industrial design technician designation through DASI Solutions. k-Space has financially supported this additional training for the past year and half.
VanEck stated, “The apprenticeship program was created to allow SolidWorks users to be extremely well rounded and aware of every feature of the software. It made me more efficient and aware of the potential uses of the software, for more advanced design.”
Having an additional employee with these skills allows k-Space to better serve its customers’ needs for customization and more advanced designs. Hunter designs and, when applicable, 3D prints custom parts to make metrology tools that are both cutting edge technology as well as at a cost-effective price for the customer.
