kSA BandiT - Real-time Wafer Temperature Sensing
BandiT Calibration Files

kSA BandiT band gap wafer temperature sensor
The kSA BandiT system relies on calibration files to compensate for substrates of different material composition, thickness, polish, dopant level, and manufacturer.  You can ensure that you have the most up-to-date calibration files on your system by downloading the files from this page on a regular basis.  By downloading the files here, you will not lose any calibration files that you are currently using:  we only add new cals to this page, so you will never lose existing cal files.  The date at the right of the file shows the last time the file(s) was updated. In some cases we have run multiple calibrations on the same substrate.  In this case the revision ("Rev") will be higher than 1.

In order to use the latest calibrations, the only file needed is "bandit.bcal".  This file contains all the polynomial fitting coefficients needed to relate band edge wavelength to temperature.  However, if you would like to have access to the raw calibration files (temperature vs band edge wavelength), to directly compare various substrate temperature dependences, then you can download these files as well.  They are in the zip files labeled "GaAs Raw Calibration Files", etc.

Place all files below in your /Program Files/kSA/kSA BandiT/Program/Calibration folder.  Note the zipped files must be unzipped to this folder.

BandiT BCAL File
(12-12-05)

GaAs Raw Calibration Files (11-23-05)
GaN Raw Calibration Files (10-17-05)
InP Raw Calibration Files (11-22-05)
InPAs Raw Calibration Files (9-8-05)
Si Raw Calibration Files (11-29-05)
SiC Raw Calibration Files (12-12-05)

Also available for BandiT users is a table listing the wafer specs for all of the calibration files currently available . If you have a BandiT system and would like to measure the temperature of a wafer we haven't calibrated, please contact us.
